In an article regarding the Larry Craig debacle, Ronald Kessler describes the standard operating procedure of the Capitol Police force when dealing with Congressional offenders. They either "unarrest" them or simply don't arrest them in the first place. Perhaps this explains why Mr. Craig revealed his status as a US Senator to the arresting officer. Perhaps he didn't know that the other Police departments hadn't gotten them memo on "unarresting."
If this information is true, is it any wonder that things are in the mess that they are? America is already facing serious enough judgment from God's hand for its 34-year serial killing spree against the unborn without adding this kind of injustice to the account ledger. This mess has to stop. Justice for the person living in the slums of New Orleans should be no different than the justice administered on Capitol Hill.
It is my prayer that true justice without bias will be established in our country.
Amen.
